All parts of this plant are edible to ducks.Widgeon Grass can be propogated by spreading the plant material throughout the area you want to establish Widgeon Grass and it will propogate from the roots and stems. It does not have to be seeded or put into the soil. Requires sunlight. Spread in 12-36 inches of water depth. Recommended rate - 100 lbs per acre
